A Study on the Nursing Implication of the Cognitive Psychology

|
Nursing is a study about Human being. So it is necessary to understand human being. Cognitive psychology focuses on intelligence, thought system and information processing approach. At present, it developes cognitive science because of supporting from formalism, information processing theory, new philosophycal science and other knowledge. In nursing, cognitive concept is applied to understand 3f mental disease and treatment, stress and adaptation, cognitive dissonance theory, Harvey´s the hiarachial concept formation and nursing research. Nursing goal is human´s maturation. Thought process makes personality and life. So it is more necessary to stress cognitive concept in Nursing practice, education program and research.
